Once a student passes the Clinical Test, they are eligible to take the Written Test. This test is multiple choice. A student must receive a passing score of 70% or better to receive certification.
For each student that successfully completes the CNA/CHHA Certification tests:
1. Their name and Nurse Aide certification number will be listed on the Oklahoma State Nurse Aide registry.
2. They will receive two wallet cards from the Oklahoma State Department of Health. One card will represent that they are a Certified Nurse Aide in the State of Oklahoma. The other will represent that they are a Certified Home Health Aide in the State of Oklahoma.
3. The certification wallet cards will have an expiration date of two years from the date of certification. It will be the responsibility of the student to keep their certifications current. Certification card renewal fees are to be paid to the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
CNA/CHHA Testing Fees
Certification Testing Fees are not included in the tuition price. A representative from the testing site will visit during class so that students can schedule the CNA/CHHA test and pay the testing fee of $90.00 directly to the testing site.
CHHA Deeming Class Certification Requirements
Upon completion of this 16 hour course, the student will receive a Training Verification Form. This form will be submitted to the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry and the individual will receive a Certified Home Health certification card. There is a $10 processing fee to be paid to the state. Wings will assist each student with the submission of their Verification Forms. Upon completion of this course, there is not a certifiction test to become a CHHA, the state only requires the completion of the 16 hours.
Testing Re-Takes
If a student fails a certification test, they may retake the test. Additional testing fees will apply and will be paid directly to the testing site NOT to Wings Health Care Training. It is the responsibility of the student to contact the testing site to reschedule their test.
